The "King of Pop" Michael Jackson had arrived in the German capital after three days of testimony in a California court in a $21 million lawsuit by German concert promoter Marcel Avram, over canceled shows. A crowd of screaming fans greeted the reclusive entertainer, in town to receive a lifetime achievement award at a ceremony on Thursday night, in front of the Adlon Hotel. When he got up to his room, Jackson opened his window and held a light-skinned baby, a white towel over the tot's head, briefly over the metal railing of his fourth-floor hotel window on Tuesday, November 18th, 2002. For some reason, the distraught Dad briefly dangled his latest child, barefoot over a railing with one hand only...providing a momentary if odd thriller for fans waiting on Berlin's central square below. Jackson has three children, two by ex-wife Debbie Rowe, five-year-old son Prince Michael and four-year-old daughter Paris. He also has a baby who is less than one year old.

Rod Stewart

Rod Stewart balked at staying at the same Berlin hotel with Michael Jackson last week. Stewart was in Germany promoting his new album, "It Had to Be You: The Great American Songbook." His record company wanted to book him a room at the Adlon, where Wacko Jacko dangled his 8-month-old son from a 70-foot balcony. A staffer for J Records e-mailed Annie Challis of Stewart's management company and asked if the rocker could tolerate the flock of fans, bodyguards and paparazzi camped out at the Adlon. "Kindly find new hotel," Challis replied. "Bodyguards and fans fine, but cannot risk Rod being struck on the head by falling baby."

Lisa Marie Presley-Jackson?

LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- "Just think -- nobody thought this would last," Michael Jackson had said on his marriage to Lisa Marie Presley. Turns out that everybody was right after all. Barely 20 months after the self-proclaimed king of pop and the only child of American rock 'n' roll legend Elvis Presley took their wedding vows, the marriage is over. The May 1994 wedding between Presley and Jackson in the Dominican Republic was shrouded in secrecy, and the parties denied that they had married for nearly two months.

At the time, many speculated that the wedding was a just a masquerade, a ploy to prop up Jackson's public image, which had taken a battering after a 13-year-old boy alleged that the pop star had sexually molested him. Jackson later reached a multimillion dollar out-of-court settlement with the boy. No charges were ever filed.

Presley and Jackson appeared on ABC's Primetime Live and declared that they were deeply in love, and were trying to have a child. "Do we have sex?" Presley wa asked during the interview. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" they replied. They were questioned about rumors that their marriage was a publicity stunt designed to give Jackson legitimacy. "Like we're faking this?" Jackson said. Lisa added, "How can you fake this 24 hours a day -- sleeping with somebody, waking up with somebody? I'm not going to marry somebody for any reason other than the fact that I fall in love with them."
