LOS ANGELES - May 30, 2002 - Anna Nicole Smith's daily life will be televised on the cable channel E! Film crews have already begun shooting at Smith's Los Angeles home, network executives said. E! officials said they had the idea of chronicling Smith before "The Osbournes," which follows rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his family, became a hit this season on MTV.
The new show airs in August and its creators promise the half-hour program will provide an inside look at the woman who in March was awarded $88 million from the estate of her late husband, the oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall ,who married her when she was 26 and he was 89. Anna had been fighting court battles in two states over the fortune of her late husband, who died at age 90 in August 1995, just 14 months after their wedding. They met in 1991 when she was working as a stripper. Still, 88 Million's quite a big tip.
